☀️ Adenium Leo Care & Growing Guide
Care Factor Requirements & Best Practices Quick Tip
Light Full, direct sunlight for at least 6 hours daily. Leggy growth means it needs more sun.
Watering Soak and dry method. Water thoroughly, then let the soil dry out completely. Reduce watering drastically in winter. When in doubt, leave it dry. The caudex stores water!
Soil Extremely well-draining mix. Use a cactus/succulent soil blended with perlite, pumice, or coarse sand. Avoid heavy garden soils that trap moisture and cause rot.
Temperature Thrives in hot climates (65°F to 90°F / 18°C to 32°C). Protect from freezing temperatures below 50°F (10°C). Bring indoors during cold winter months.
Fertilizer Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer (diluted to half-strength) once a month during spring and summer. Stop fertilizing completely during winter dormancy.
Pruning Prune in early spring to encourage branching and create a bushier shape with more bloom sites. Always use sterile tools and wear gloves (the sap is toxic).
